Jesse Bowman Bruchac has been working on a new Abenaki dictionary for years now. The announcement is out – and I’m so pleased to announce that he’s giving out the PDF for free.
For myself, I’m downloading the PDF but as soon as I get the money together I’m buying the physical copy. I work better with paper. I’m old fashioned like that.
I encourage everyone to get the physical copy if they can. Proceeds are going to help language reclamation efforts.
